The Trainer is responsible for training and facilitating sessions for adult learners both in-person and via webinar, supporting on-going trainings, preparing training materials, and traveling to support interviewers. Spends about 50 – 60% of the time in-classroom. A Trainer’s primary responsibility is to conduct training sessions of 4-8 adult Field Interviewers, evaluating their performance and offering feedback. Training topics are both technical (how to administer a verbatim questionnaire administration, how to use tablet, etc.) and conceptual (time management, strategy, gaining respondent cooperation). Trainings are conducted off-site, primarily within a 15-mile radius of our Newtown Square Headquarters. A Trainer assists in the development of new curriculum, teaching aids and manuals, learning activities, occasionally conducts training sessions over the phone and completes other administrative duties as required.
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Knowledge of adult learning methodologies, Learning Management Systems and webinar software are a plus.
Special Requirements: Willing to work additional hours as dictated by business needs. Travel across the continental U.S. is required
